A Juried Fine Arts Exhibition Duncanville, Texas · May 8–9, 2026

Ellafair returns to Duncanville on May 8 and 9 as the featured fine arts exhibition at BloomFest, the City of Duncanville’s spring arts and music festival. Last year BloomFest drew over 3,000 attendees, and we expect more this year. Selected artists are exhibited alongside peers whose work meets the same standard of vision and execution. Two prizes are awarded. There is no entry fee.

A Tony Award-winning marketing and communications executive with more than 20 years in mission-driven arts leadership, Brad Pritchett serves as Chief Experience Officer at the Dallas Museum of Art. He has been named to the DCEO Top 500 three times and was a CMO of the Year nominee by the American Marketing Association. He is the 2025 recipient of the Unleashed LGBTQ Arts and Culture Influencer of the Year award.

Pritchett selects Best of Show on the evening of Friday, May 8.

Best of Show
A solo exhibition at Arts Junction

Sponsored by the Duncanville Arts Foundation. The three works each artist submits with their application are the works considered for Best of Show. The winning artist receives a solo exhibition at Arts Junction, in Duncanville’s Old Rail Station at 202 W. Center Street. Announced at 6:00 PM during the Welcome Reception by Brad Pritchett, alongside Sarah Macias, Chair of the Duncanville Arts Foundation.

People’s Choice
Voted by exhibition visitors

Presented by the Duncanville Arts Commission. Visitors to the exhibition vote for a People’s Choice winner, announced at 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 9.

Selected artists submit three works for jurying and Best of Show consideration, and may bring additional work for sale at the exhibition.

What you’ll have to work with

Each artist is provided one rectangular banquet table and one easel. There is no wall space available for hanging work, so plan your display for tabletop and easel presentation. Tablecloths, freestanding display stands, print racks, frames, and signage are welcome and encouraged.
