All sales are handled by you directly at your display, so bring what you need to take payment (card reader, mobile payment, cash, and change).

Ellafair provides signage at the entrance, a printed program, one display table, and one easel for each artist. Everything at your individual display is yours to prepare.

ThreeDisplay equipment

Ellafair provides each artist with one display table and one easel.

Nothing may be affixed to the walls of the venue. If your work exceeds the capacity of a standard easel or banquet table, please reach Ron at the contact information above so we can plan together.

FourSpecial accommodations

If you need access to electricity for your display, accessibility accommodations, or any other special arrangements, please reach Ron Thompson at ron@duncanvillearts.org or (972) 435-9842 before load-in.

FiveFriday: setup and reception

Setup begins at 3:00 PM. When you arrive, check in at the Ellafair table inside the main entrance. A volunteer will direct you to your space, where your assigned table and easel will already be set.

The Welcome Reception opens at 5:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served. Plan to be near your works during the reception so visitors can meet you and ask about the work. Best of Show is announced at 6:00 PM. The reception closes at 7:30 PM, and the Hopkins is secured overnight. You are welcome to leave your works in place until Saturday or take them home for the night, whichever feels right. Ellafair organizers are not responsible for loss or damage to artwork left at the venue.

SixSaturday: BloomFest and People’s Choice

Saturday is shared with BloomFest, which runs from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Plan to be present near your works during the show so visitors can engage with the work and complete purchases with you directly.

The People’s Choice award is announced at 8:00 PM by the Duncanville Arts Commission. Tear-down begins at 9:00 PM. Bring transport and packing materials sufficient to collect your works at the close of the exhibition. Works do not remain at the venue overnight, so if you cannot be there yourself, please arrange for someone to collect your pieces on your behalf.
